100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Located to the south of the Via Domitia, the terroir mainly consists of ancient terraces called ‘Costières’ – dating back to the Pliocene period – overlooking the Etang de Thau lagoon and the Mediterranean sea. The geological structure of these coastal hills being limestone, red marl, clay, sand and stone.
Beautifully deep and concentrated ruby-red colour with purplish highlights.
The nose conjures up black fruit notes (wild blackberry jam), spices (black pepper).
The tannins are very present with a richly aromatic flavours of black fruit in syrup, of green and black pepper with woody undertones.
The finish has a ‘roasted’ palate.
Food and wine-pairing suggestions
Serve with grilled red meat or with typical dished from our region : roasted mutton or lamb, cassoulet from the Toulouse region.
